The fashion for living in harmony with nature continues, which is a very positive trend. More and more of us are paying close attention not only to what they eat, but also to the composition of cosmetics for everyday care. Unfortunately, very often you can find in them chemical products that have a bad effect on the condition of the skin or hair. That is why natural cosmetics are gaining popularity. You don’t have to spend a fortune on them at all. Useful ingredients can even be found in the kitchen. Find out how to effectively wash your hair without using a shampoo.

Cured soda

It’s considered to be an all-rounder, so you can use it in your bathroom with peace of mind. Cleansed soda absorbs sebum very well, which causes the hair to look bad. Additionally, soda has an antibacterial effect, it cleanses the scalp well, and this is conducive to faster transport of nutrients to the hair bulbs.

It is important to remember, of course, that baking soda has an alkaline reaction, which is unfavourable for hair. It must therefore be neutralised. So it is best to add a little apple vinegar to the soda. This acid reaction will close the scalp and improve the shine of your hair.

A blend of soda and vinegar is prepared in a matter of minutes. Add one tablespoon of soda to half a glass of water. Add 1/3 of a glass of apple vinegar to 2/3 of the glass of water. Mix everything together and pour into a shampoo bottle.

Yellow

Eggs are a real protein bomb, which is why they are perfect for hair care – but not an exaggeration, because an excess of protein also harms the hair. From time to time, however, you may want to wash your hair with yolk mixed with olive oil. Such a mixture not only cleanses, but also nourishes the hair perfectly. Remember to rinse the strands thoroughly, however.

Washing nuts

They make a big difference in green homes, but it turns out that they can be used not only to wash clothes. Washing nuts will also work well as an alternative to shampoo. Just boil it in water and use the stock in the shower – when it has cooled down, of course. The effect will be very good, but do not exaggerate with the frequency of this treatment – once a week is enough.

Don’t forget that these methods are only an alternative to classic shampoo cleaning. You will certainly not be able to give up cosmetics completely in the long run.

Heavily soiled hair will need to be treated with a detergent shampoo, but choose products that do not contain these most aggressive detergents, the SLS and SLES.
