Thanks to the Italians’ idea, everyone will be able to get closer to nature wherever they are. Start-up GreenNote lets you listen to music that is created by the plants themselves.
GreenNote is a small speaker. A leaf section and the lower part of the stem are attached to the unit. Its functioning is possible thanks to micro electrical voltages occurring in the plant. When the electrodes are connected, they capture them and convert them into music. What’s more, any interaction with the plant, such as touching, watering or moving the plant, will lead to changes in the music. Therefore, the user will be able to become a real virtuoso by creating mini concerts of music created by plants.

Currently, a collection is underway to develop a prototype on one of Indigo’s crowdfunding platforms. In addition, the company plans to develop a mobile application that will allow users to change the type of music, set the alarm and control the volume. The ready made device will also be able to connect to other speakers via Bluetooth. The authors predict that the product will initially be available at a price of USD 159.
