You wake up in the morning and come up with a brilliant idea: I go shopping! You’ve found out for a long time that your old jeans have the best years behind them and that it’s time to invest in a new pair. You have a problem, however, because buying jeans is not that easy. All this is due to the fact that the producers compete in the strange nomenclature for individual cuts. With our guide you can easily decipher this new feature.
These are simply jeans that fit perfectly in your hips and thighs, but with the legs gently expanding. It is a very feminine cut, designed for women with quite a slender silhouette. High girls look best in these jeans.
It’s easy to guess it’s a very tight fit. Usually we are dealing here with jeans sewn from denim, but with an admixture of stretchy stress.
Sometimes they are also called cowboys, because they resemble trousers used by women working on American prairie. These jeans have wide legs along their entire length. They are very comfortable and especially recommended for women who do not like too well fitted trousers.
This is the most classic denim cut with straight legs, without constrictions or extensions. Originally, such trousers were sewn exclusively for men, but also ladies like to use them. It is characteristic of them that the status line at the back is clearly higher than at the front.
They are inspired by hip-hop culture. They have a markedly lowered step, fall freely on their hips and are very loose. Not for more official styling, but for a walk – why not? They work very well with loose t-shirt or sweatshirt. They are really comfortable.
Under a strange name there is a well known cut, that is simply bells. They have very wide legs that extend from knee height. Usually they stick tightly to thighs and hips. At present, we are witnessing a triumphant return of bells to the world of fashion.
Here we are dealing with the popular ‘carrots’. Characteristic of this cut is that the leg is clearly narrowed downwards. The top of the trousers, on the other hand, is classic. It is a nice choice for pegs, tight-fitting boots or tall boots (then put the legs inside).
